Q: HOW DO I GET TO THE AIRPORT BY ROAD?

A: The Airport is located 5 miles from Manchester City Centre, close to Junction 11 of the M60 Motorway. Click here for more details and links to maps showing the location.

Q: WILL THERE BE AN AIRSHOW THIS YEAR?

A: There are no immediate plans to hold an Airshow style event this year. However we do hold various other events during the year including an annual Open Day (normally during September) and various Aircraft Fly-In events. Details will be published on our website accordingly.

Q: CAN I VISIT THE AIRPORT TO VIEW THE AIRCRAFT?

A: Yes. Visitors are always welcome to the Airport. Visitors should park in the Visitor Car Park. Visitors are welcome to view the airport activities from the first floor balcony of the Control Tower building.

Q: CAN YOU TELL ME PRICES OF PLEASURE FLIGHTS AND TRIAL LESSONS?

A: There are a number of businesses based at City Airport which conduct Pleasure Flights and Lessons. To obtain prices for these flights, you will need to enquire directly with the businesses. A full list of Flying Schools and other businesses at City Airport can be found on our Flying Schools Page.
